Financial giving

We are open about money and how it is used. As a charity we are required to make an annual presentation to the church - which we gladly do. As with other churches we submit audited annual accounts.

When it comes to our financial ethos, we primarily base ours on verses from a passage in Paul's second letter to the Corinthians where he says (about an upcoming offering):

'The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver'.

We encourage the Fellowship to be generous and give out of the grace of God which they have come into through Christ. Our people give to many different people and situations beyond local church.

We're based in a lovely coastal town on Scotland's east coast and draw people from wider East Lothian as well as the town itself.

If this is your first visit to the site you are probably interested in our Sunday service. We meet each Sunday at 10.30am at North Berwick High School, 231 Grange Road, North Berwick, EH39 4QS.
